At Camp Recky, campers can be their true camp selves. In a safe and welcoming environment, they build friendships and form positive bonds that last a lifetime.

This position is ideal for students pursuing careers in education, social work, recreation, or the sport industry.
Job Duties
Work with children ages 6-12 years old
Implement and support various program activities, including sports and games, aquatics, creative arts, and more
Lead a group of 8-10 campers through daily activities and transitions
Collaborate with camp supervisors to develop ideas and address concerns, including behavior issues or bullying
Build positive relationships with campers and support their social development
Work with fellow counselors tomaintaina cohesive and supportive camp environment
Eat lunch with campers and helpmaintaina clean and organized eating area
Demonstrate enthusiasm to encourage camper participation
Instruct campers on emergency procedures and ensure accountability during drills or emergencies
Manage daily signin and signout, ensuring release only to approved individuals
Encourage respect for camp equipment, facilities, andpersonal property
Attend weekly allstaff meetings
Serve as a positive role model bydemonstratingcleanliness, punctuality, teamwork, sportsmanship, and good manners
