Dental Assistant Burr Ridge, IL

Our private dental practice in Burr Ridge, Illinois is seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our supportive, high-quality clinical team. With a team of 7 and a strong focus on digital dentistry, we are looking for someone who thrives in a modern environment and takes pride in supporting exceptional patient care. This position reports to one location only.

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday
• Some Friday mornings

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Assist the doctor and occasionally support the hygienist
• Set up and clean treatment rooms
• Maintain treatment room organization and efficiency
• Manage instrument sterilization and infection control protocols
• Maintain dental treatment rooms and equipment
• Take digital X-rays and panographs
• Assist with CEREC Prime scanning (a plus)
• Manage incoming and outgoing lab cases
• Log equipment maintenance
• Manage dental supply orders
• Seat patients comfortably and ensure a positive experience
• Read and follow dental material instructions and package directions
• Utilize Dentrix software
• Support the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience
• Experience with digital X-rays and panographs required
• CEREC Prime scanning experience is a plus
• Experience with Dentrix software preferred
• Comfortable using computers and reading technical instructions
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols
• Digital dentistry experience preferred
• Motivated, team-oriented mindset
• Good chairside manner in a high-quality clinical environment
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain organization

Pay & Compensation

• $21 to $25 per hour, depending on skills and experience
• $25+ for expanded duties dental assistant
• 401(k)
