The physician associate will provide comprehensive OR-only cardiothoracic surgery support including endoscopic vein harvesting with the Maquet Vasoview 2 system, open vein harvesting procedures, first and second assisting in all cardiothoracic cases, and arterial line placement. The role requires extensive operating room experience working with a busy program of 8 surgeons and managing emergency cases that may require call-back coverage after hours. The position involves day shift and 24-hour shift coverage with call responsibilities and requires board certification and prescriptive authority.
