Mel’s Builders & Design Inc. is a growing high-end construction company specializing in foundation and rough framing for custom homes throughout Los Angeles. We work with top builders, architects, and developers and are known for delivering projects on time, on budget, and beyond expectations.

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive Office Manager to help oversee daily office operations and support our leadership team as the company continues to grow.

This is a key position that helps keep the company running smoothly between the office, field crews, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day office operations
• Coordinate communication between office staff, project managers, and field teams
• Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and organize project documentation
• Assist with project coordination and administrative support
• Help manage subcontractor paperwork, insurance certificates, and contracts
• Support estimating and proposal preparation when needed
• Track invoices, purchase orders, and vendor communication
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
• Assist leadership with implementing office systems and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Manager, or Construction Office Administrator
• Experience in construction or contracting industry is strongly preferred
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and construction management software
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
