Our team, led by Dr. Shawyin Yee-Armah, Dr. Gregg Peters, and Dr. James Herbst, is dedicated to excellence in ophthalmology and optometry, offering a wide range of services including cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, plastic eye surgery and general eye examinations, and treatments for various eye conditions. We are seeking a part time optometrist with possible full time position if available. Also candidates willing to cover both York and Camp hill locations with York as a primary location.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams medical and vision test exams
• Prescribe and fit contact lenses
• Provide postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
• Manage patient recall and follow-up appointments

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Optometry degree
• Experience in eye care and ocular disease management
• Proficiency in performing refractions and optometric testing
• Knowledge of optomap and optical coherence tomography
• Ability to provide vision therapy and low vision services

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in LASIK co-management
• Expertise in prescription dispensing
• Familiarity with primary care optometry

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in cataract evaluation and management
• Knowledge of postoperative care protocols
• Understanding of ophthalmology procedures

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, with additional benefits including health insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) options, holiday pay, and paid time off.
