Full-Charge Bookkeeper & Systems Integration Lead
Remote | Small-to-Midsize Professional Services Firm
Pay Range 24-26 CAD (based on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, operational Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions while overseeing system integrations between Salesforce, QuickBooks, and HR platforms. This role supports both U.S. and Canadian operations and works closely with Finance and HR leadership to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and efficient internal processes.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a growing company environment and enjoys building structure, improving workflows, and wearing multiple hats.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping (AP, AR, reconciliations, GL maintenance)
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Support month-end close and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian accounting standards and tax requirements
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation
Systems Integration & Process Improvement
- Oversee integration between Salesforce, QuickBooks, Avalara, Spiff, and CPQ
- Ensure accurate synchronization of billing, project, and financial data
- Identify automation opportunities and improve workflows
- Support implementation and optimization of accounting and HR systems
- Troubleshoot system discrepancies and coordinate with vendors as needed
HR & Payroll Support
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support payroll coordination for U.S. and Canadian employees
- Maintain employee records and compliance documentation
- Support benefits administration and time tracking systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian companies
- Strong knowledge of cash and accrual accounting
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
- Experience integrating Salesforce with accounting systems
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and Canadian accounting practices
- Experience supporting payroll and HR administration
- Strong Excel and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

All full-time regular non-exempt employees are eligible for our Paid Time Off Plan policy after 90 days, Paid Time Off plan is an 3.33 hours accrual per pay period for employees.
Paid Holidays: All full-time employees will receive 8 paid holidays per year. Full-time non-exempt employees receive an extra floater holiday per year.
Paid Sick time: All full-time employees will receive 40 sick hours per year.
