The facility operates on a 93-acre campus and provides comprehensive services including acute care, a Level 4 trauma emergency department, cancer care, imaging, and surgical services. The position requires a board-certified General Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical services at a critical access hospital with day shift coverage and nightly call responsibilities. The clinician must be prepared to respond to trauma cases in the emergency department as part of the Level 4 trauma designation. Daily responsibilities include performing general surgical procedures, managing inpatient surgical consultations, and providing on-call coverage to ensure 24-hour surgical availability for the community.
