Overview

The role of Warehouse Supervisor postion will assist in standardization of key processes & competency requirements to ensure all regulatory compliance laws and regulations are met. Increase engaugement of organization & company's values. Provide management back up to daily operations that does not exist today. Will also provide promotional opportunities and retention with current and future staff which will energize and drive growth.

This is an on-site full time position

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Organizes and direct activities encompassing warehousing, transportation, and inventory control
  • Coordinates these activities to ensure efficient use of warehouse space, resources, and to improve the flow of materials throughout the facility
  • Provides daily direction of warehouse personnel to meet customer requirements and ensure safe, clean, and efficient operations of the warehouse
  • Identifies resources in warehouse area to assist internal and external customers meet requirements
  • Inventory control including material transfers, cycle count and stock status/reorder point activities
  • Supports cycle count program to ensure accurate inventory counts
  • Develops programs to train and motivate personnel for increased effectiveness
  • Develops shipping and receiving work schedules and assignments daily to assure efficient operations
  • Makes recommendations to management on programs to improve warehouse operations
  • Processes paperwork for the warehouse, including standard operating procedures, deviation notices, and discrepancy statements
  • Directs the operations of the warehouse personnel to achieve prescribed goals
  • Collaborates with management to develop a productive staff by creating programs for hiring, training and professional development. Apply motivational techniques in supervising, counseling, and disciplining the team
  • Develops a daily plan for preventive maintenance and allocation equipment to jobs. Ensure that equipment is used in the most efficient manner
  • Works with other departmental management
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School Diploma / GED 2 5 years of experience in a production environment.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills Able to work with necessary computer programs and applications Ability to delegate work appropriately Must be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills Must be able to be flexible and lead others through change Works well independently and in team environment Ability to motivate and coach employees Ability to hold employees accountable Overtime is mandatory if shift is scheduled on weekdays or coverage is needed for sick time or vacation of other key personnel.

**To perform the duties of this role will require frequently standing, walking and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally sitting, bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), kneeling and crouching. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 21-30 lbs. Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage.**
