The Janitorial Project Manager oversees daily janitorial operations across a k-12 campus environment. This role ensures highquality custodial services, optimal staffing, and consistent service delivery that supports academic, administrative, and residential facilities. The Janitorial Project Manager coordinates operational planning, quality assurance, client relationship management, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees; planning and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; and resolving issues to maintain client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Compensation: $55,000 annual salary (US Dollars)
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicants education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

  • Serves as the primary operational liaison between ABM and the client, providing consistent updates, reporting, and partnership.
  • Oversees janitorial teams across academic buildings, residence halls, athletic facilities, libraries, laboratories, and common areas.
  • Ensures service quality through routine inspections, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manages daily work orders, custodial tasks, event setups, and periodic floorcare programs.
  • Leads and motivates site supervisors and frontline janitorial staff.
  • Develops and implements staffing plans, shift schedules, and labor allocations to meet campus needs.
  • Ensures compliance with cleaning standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees inventory, supplies, equipment usage, and vendor coordination (when applicable).
  • Plans and manages budgets, cost controls, and operational performance metrics.
  • Supports sustainability initiatives and best practices aligned with campus goals.
  • Coordinates special projects, seasonal deep cleaning, moveins/moveouts, and event support.
  • Participates in longrange planning and operational enhancements tied to campus facilities.
  • Handles client escalations, service adjustments, and contract compliance.

  • 3-5 years of janitorial operations leadership , facilities services management, or a related field.

Licenses / Certifications:

  • Current Drivers License required.
