Our client, a leading organization in the power and energy sector, is seeking a Lead Protection & Control Engineer to join their team. As a Lead Protection & Control Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Transmission & Distribution projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Design and oversee protection schemes for T&D substations, Data Centers, Industrial, and BESS applications, including one-lines, three-lines, AC/DC schematics, and relay settings.
- Lead a local or remote design team to develop P&C designs such as protection single line diagrams, panel arrangements, and wiring diagrams.
- Evaluate interoperability, control features, and communication protocols, including IEC61850 system bus architecture, for integrated substation solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to review technical documentation and resolve technical issues.
- Support project execution through testing, commissioning, and creating detailed plans and procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
What's Needed?
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college, with a strong preference for Power majors.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system protection schemes, relay selection, communication systems, and maintenance practices for transmission, distribution, and generation protection applications.
- P.E. License or EIT with a willingness to pursue P.E. certification.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent influencing, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, including international travel for meetings and on-site commissioning.
