This role provides dedicated project management support to build and support ongoing delivery for India-based procurement. The associate will own the integrated project plan for procurement and serve as the central coordination point for planning and running workstreams for India procurement operations.

Responsibilities include planning and running workstreams, defining scope and milestones, coordinating cross-functional resources, and maintaining clear, consistent communication across time zones.

The role will also support building additional procurement capabilities, whether delivered from India or domestically. This includes designing, standardizing, and maintaining templates, tools, and approaches (e.g., status reports, project plans, RAID logs) that enable transparency, governance, and repeatable execution.

The associate will monitor progress against deliverables, proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive decision-making and escalations needed to keep milestones on track. This includes capturing lessons learned to continuously improve the new operations.

The position is located in Columbus, Ohio, and includes a hybrid work arrangement with in-office collaboration.

As a Consultant, you'll manage projects to drive business objectives. You will identify and develop business process mapping and recommend and implement policies and procedures for new and existing business processes. You'll support the business administration functions for your assigned area.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and prioritizes all aspects of projects, including: planning, communication, execution and completion.

  • Develops and controls timelines, including regularly re-assessing risks, throughout project life. Revises project plans on an ongoing basis to maintain alignment with other projects and the business strategy.

  • Coordinates business/systems unit resources to log issues, designs processes and implements solutions. Maintains awareness of customer and systems requirements and conforms to those requirements.

  • Responsible for internal and external resource management, budgeting and cost containment.

  • Provides mentorship and feedback to project team members.

  • Recommends and implements policies and procedures for new business processes and manages these processes upon completion of the project. Communicates process changes to impacted business units.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Manager/Director or Officer. This is an individual contributor position.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate studies in business, mathematics or related field.

License/Certification/Designation: Project Management Certification preferred.

Experience: Six years of work experience in project management. Business process mapping experience preferred.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Strong knowledge of project management concepts and techniques. Working knowledge of business terminology, systems and data processing policies, practices and procedures. Knowledge of business-related systems concepts and requirements preferred. Strong relationship building skills. Outstanding project management skills. Strong negotiation and problem solving skills. Proven decision making skills for problem identification and selection of alternatives. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to prepare technical reports and formal presentations.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by business unit Officer and Human Resources Officer.
