Prep Cook

Kikka sushi is looking for a dependable Prep Cook / Team Member who will provide great customer service in the Whole Foods Market located at: 261 Lusher Court Frisco, Colorado 80443.

Full time, 5 days a week, must work all Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (weekdays off), working 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (includes an hour unpaid meal break). The Prep Cook / Team Member will make sushi in advance and made-to-order sushi per the customer's request, prepare other Asian foods, prep food and clean while helping customers in a fast paced environment. Don’t know how to make sushi, don’t worry we will teach you!

To thrive in this job you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, have a flexible morning and evening availability, be willing to work hard (this isn’t an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to get comfortable with the job), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few days or weeks) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English.

Pay is $19.00. Per equal pay work act Section 7 CCR 1103-13-4 - Job Posting Requirements 4.1 up to $21.00 per hour, depending on years of sushi making experience. No years of sushi making experience, pay is $19.00 not negotiable.

Qualifications:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Show great customer service skills
• Must Work all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

• Working in fast food or quick service restaurants, supermarkets and fast paced environments
• Food handling experience and food handler certification
