Full-time, 12-month, benefited position
This position is responsible for providing high-quality administrative, instructional, and operational support to the Allied Health programs. The role supports AH Leadership, Program Directors, faculty, students, and clinical partners in alignment with accreditation standards and NDSCS Quality Standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating and managing clinical/fieldwork/preceptor partnership agreements; monitoring accreditation requirements; managing student background checks, immunizations, and site compliance; maintaining program policies, handbooks, and curriculum documents; and supporting budgeting, purchasing, and instructional activities. This position also assists with course scheduling, advisory committee coordination, and public-facing communication such as website content updates. The individual must maintain strict HIPAA and FERPA compliance, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and work effectively in a collaborative, team-centered environment.
Minimum Requirements
* Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
* Associate degree OR a High School diploma/GED with a minimum of two years of administrative support experience in an office, customer service, or educational setting.
* Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new software systems.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and follow HIPAA and FERPA requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate degree in Administrative Support, Business, Health Information, or a related field.
* Experience working in higher education, healthcare, or an accredited academic program.
* Experience using PeopleSoft / Campus Connection or similar student information systems.
* Familiarity with third-party student compliance systems (e.g., background checks, immunization trackers).
* Previous experience an educational or healthcare environment.
SALARY: $38,000-$44,000, commensurate with education and experience
BENEFITS: NDSCS offers a comprehensive benefits package with an estimated value of over $25,000. The package includes single or family health insurance coverage with premiums paid for by the College – with an effective date for new employees the first of the month following the date of hire.
