  • Manage production data and technical drawings related to tools and processes
  • Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and integration of poka-yoke systems
  • Support operational changes driven by new models or engineering changes
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assembly operations
  • Define standardized work instructions and process flow for each station on the line
  • Develop order-of-operations documentation for vehicle assembly and model changes
  • Support documentation for maintenance procedures and troubleshooting guidelines
  • Collaborate with electrical and jig/tool engineers to align process methods with equipment capabilities
  • Validate process changes through floor trials and support associate training on new methods
  • Participate in annual model changes; support tooling updates throughout KKEN, 1P, and SOP milestones
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across cross-cultural teams, especially with non-native English speakers
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Training and Experience:

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of quality control technologies (e.g., TQM, SPC)
  • Strong understanding of design principles and technical drawing standards
  • Experience with assembling tools, fixtures, and jigs
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying dimensional tolerances
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Skilled in preparing mechanical drawings and plant layouts
  • Capable of developing and delivering training and presentations
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills for SOP development
  • Ability to translate engineering designs into operator-level instructions
  • Familiarity with production validation processes for new or revised assembly methods
  • Detail-oriented and capable of balancing hands-on process observation with desktop process planning.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Experience in OEM or automotive manufacturing
  • Familiarity with lean systems like TPS
  • CAD software proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks)
  • Working knowledge of ERP or MES systems
