• Performing in-depth assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and formulating personalized care strategies
• Independently diagnosing and treating a range of acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses, often collaborating with physicians as needed
• Providing comprehensive education to patients and their families about disease prevention, health promotion, and management strategies
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies as permitted by your credentials
• Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and management of chronic conditions
• Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams for integrated and comprehensive care delivery
• Maintaining precise and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Ohio
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or ability to obtain these within 90 days
