Experienced Dental Assistant

At Dental Sleep Medicine of Indiana, we specialize in helping patients who struggle with sleep apnea and CPAP intolerance find comfortable, effective alternatives. As our Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinical flow. You will assist with oral appliance therapy, impressions, appliance fittings, and patient education.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctor chairside during consultations and appliance fittings.
• Capture radiographs and 3D scans (if applicable).
• Take impressions and/or traditional impressions.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
• Educate patients about oral appliance use and care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.Manage appliance tracking.

Qualifications:

• Previous dental assisting experience required.
• Current Dental Assistant certification.
• Experience with digital scanning technology preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in sleep medicine or is a plus (not required, we will train).
