DRC Lifeguard Recreation Salary Schedule: Category C; step 1: $13.37 SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the safety of the facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to ensure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency Enforces all aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations in a positive and professional manner Presents professional appearance an attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service Communicates any potentially dangerous elements of the facility to Aquatics Director Recognizes and responds effectively to emergencies Documents and reports all disciplinary problems and accidents to Aquatic Director Inspects the aquatic facility on a daily schedule and reports unsafe conditions and equipment to supervisor Completes records and reports Attends all staff meetings and in-service trainings Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by supervisor MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: CPR/1st Aid Certificate; Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate To Apply: ccsd1.org For additional information contact Nick DeWitt, Recreation Director, at ...
