Local CDL A Route Driver - $30 Per Hour And Up

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Swedesboro, NJ.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, Drivers may be required to work a Saturday if necessary and if a holiday, 4:30am - 6:30am Start time

• Pay: $30+ Per hour depending on experience, $1,600 - $1,700 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local covering New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania, 9-14 Stops per day

• Freight / Load Type: food products

• Equipment: Day Cabs, Automatic Transmissions, Reefer Trailers 28' - 53'

• Handling: Touch freight, electric pallet jack and hand cart use

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

• Transport food products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

• Perform required handling tasks including unloading using pallet jacks and or hand carts

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
