Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (G.E.D., HiSET, TASC)
  • Experience with developmentally disabled population preferred
  • Experience in light industrial work.
  • Minimum of two years production management and/or business experience.

Hiring requirements:

  • 18 years old or older
  • Possess and maintain a valid Real ID Oklahoma Driver’s License.
  • Pass OSBI, MVR, DHS Registry Check, reference checks, pre-employment drug and background screening and any eligibility requirements deemed necessary.

  • Update the Task Analysis based on customer needs.  Manage the Production Center to meet the customer expectations and Quality Assurance requirements in order to fulfill contract obligations

Essential functions: 

  • Update the Task Analysis based on customer needs.
  • Creates billing tickets for work completed to invoice customers.
  • Knowledgeable of time and motion study procedures in accordance with DOL regulations and conducts time studies to ensure compliance.
  • Provides information to the Durector of Business Development for bid purposes.
  • Writes task analysis/processes for subcontract prior to assignment to the work floors, communicates to staff, updates as needed.
  • Completes Work Order forms for all work assigned to the floors.
  • Implements and monitors systematic quality assurance processes and completes paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintains appropriate customer files and records related to subcontract work. 
  • Demonstrates  knowledge of prevailing wage files, including the procedures for obtaining prevailing wages.

Job conditions:

Hours for the Production Coordinator may vary according to agency needs. Normal working hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with a one (1) hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks, if scheduling allows. Occasional Saturday hours may be required.

FLSA Classification:

This position is non-exempt and receives overtime pay at one and one half times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek beginning Saturday 12:00am through Friday midnight.

This position is classified as Excluded Remote Work Designation.  Not eligible for remote work designation

Reports to:   Director of Business Development

Supervises:

  • Production Center and Warehouse Employees
  • Production employees and Delivery Drivers

Scope: This position manages the Production Center to meet the customer expectations and Quality Assurance requirements to fulfill DRTC’s contract obligations. The Production Coordinator is expected to be knowledgeable of funding requirements through the Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDS), and other regulatory sources, applicable to the department.  The Production Coordinator  is required to comply with the US Department of Labor’s (DOL) regulations which regulate the use of sub-minimum wage certification, for subcontract work within Vocational Training and Supports programs.

This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position Identification: A safety sensitive position (SSP) is a position in  which an individual has a key and direct role in an activity where impaired performance could result in: 

  • a serious incident, or
  • an improper or inadequate response to a potentially serious incident.

This role will assist in developing contract bids and collaborating with teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met. The position is held responsible for the  flow, and cost effectiveness of the work, and the establishment of department goals and objectives.
