TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Elwood, IL.

This is a temporary fill-in assignment with the potential to lead to long-term placement opportunities. We offer steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 11pm - 11am

• Pay: $29 Per Hour, $30 Per Hour with Hazmat endorsement

• Route Type: Local, Drop & Hook

• Equipment: Intermodal

• Handling: No touch freight, Drop & Hook

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent CDL A INTERMODAL experience REQUIRED

• Endorsements: Hazmat preferred, but not required

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no recent major violations or preventable DOT-reportable accidents)

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

• Perform required handling tasks

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
