Software Engineer - AEGIS

This position directly supports the Missile Defense Agency staff in the office of AEGIS Weapon System and includes (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities:

• Provide technical support & analysis of SM-3 software development to government Program Office
• Provide software development expertise to AEGIS Program Office in areas of: communications components, Interface Control Documents, performance assessments, requirements verification
• Support programmatic decisions with technical analysis
• Provide systems engineering, requirements guidance and verification analysis to Systems Engineers and

Required Qualifications

• BS Degree
• 7+ years of related experience
• 7+ years of experience in Missile Defense or in large DoD Acquisition programs
• Documented software development experience in aerospace industry, missile defense preferred
• Experience supporting and/or leading a collaborative team (dispersed team of Government, Contractors, Prime Developers)
• Exception oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• TS/SCI security clearance
• AEGIS weapon system experience
