Senior Supply Chain & Purchasing Specialist

• Perform daily purchasing tasks, including placing orders, tracking deliveries, and expediting materials.
• Support MRP execution by reviewing requirements, resolving material exceptions, and maintaining accurate system data.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate delivery or quality issues as needed.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times within approved authority.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to strengthen the supply base.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure materials meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate item masters, bills of material, lead times, and vendor information in the ERP/MRP system.
• Analyze inventory levels and supplier metrics to support cost and inventory improvement efforts.
• Assist with supply chain risk identification and communication.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and supply chain processes.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Follow all company safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Visual ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• APICS certification preferred.

Salary Range:

$80K-$90K
