What does the ROLE entail?
- Responsible for providing administrative support to the Event Managers and Director of Events.
o To include; drafting Event Sales agreements, detailing food & beverage, managing small guestroom blocks/pick up and billing instructions.
Answering phone leads and entering them into the system.
Multitasking and working with multiple projects as needed.
Daily office administrative duties using multiple computer programs.
Assist with internal and external correspondences.
Provide strong and efficient support for all aspects of the position.
Handling smaller groups with guestroom blocks and food & beverage events, wedding guestroom blocks
Attending internal meetings and providing timely updates for event details and changes, Interacting with various departments.
Coordinating with Event Managers to assist clients in their absence

Your EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of events related/admin experience, hotel experience preferred
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Unafraid of event related tasks, projects, and responsibilities
- Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent customer service and customer recovery skills
- Ability to problem solve and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
