Job Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians in minimally invasive, image?guided procedures while upholding patient safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Assist in image?guided procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, biopsies, and catheter insertions.
• Operate and adjust fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and CT imaging equipment for optimal visualization.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort, sterile technique, and procedural accuracy.
• Monitor patients vital signs and provide necessary support throughout procedures.
• Maintain strict infection?control protocols and adhere to radiation?safety standards.
• Document all procedures and patient information accurately in compliance with HIPAA.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high?quality patient care.
• Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) or (CV) preferred (state licensure where applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of vascular and non?vascular interventional procedures.
• Proficiency in radiation?safety practices and sterile technique.
• Ability to thrive in high?stress, fast?paced environments with excellent critical?thinking skills.
• Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
