Responsibilities:

• Oversee all general accounting functions, including month-end close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper account reconciliation.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations such as invoicing, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP), while identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
• Prepare and present financial statements, along with detailed analysis and management reports for senior leadership.
• Coordinate and lead the annual financial statement audit and tax filing processes.
• Develop and enhance cash flow forecasting and reporting to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Lead financial planning and budgeting processes, including consolidation and integration of departmental budgets.
• Establish and improve processes for collections, denials, appeals, payment posting, and customer communications, along with related reporting.
• Oversee billing and collections activities across multiple clients and payer groups.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international financial regulations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering both professional and personal growth.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred, with Epicor experience considered a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting operations, including AR, AP, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
• Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment when escalation is needed.
