Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in the lives of individuals with behavioral health challenges? The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is seeking qualified candidates to join our team in the Adult Mental Health - Forensic Units at DBHDD hospitals in Georgia. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to assess client health needs, develop care plans, administer nursing care, and provide education to clients and their families.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess and evaluate client care plans
- Monitor client conditions and modify treatment plans as needed
- Prepare clients for examinations and treatments
- Provide health care, first aid, and assistance in rehabilitation
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Experience in care management and planning
- Ability to perform CPR and other emergency care interventions
- Understanding of medication administration protocols
- Experience in trauma nursing and neonatal resuscitation
Salary:
Salary for this position ranges from $72,000.00 to $94,000.00, depending on experience.
