We are seeking a new Associate Veterinarian to join our team. Your role will be to see patients for wellness visits, sick and or injury exams, general surgery, and dental procedures.  We have ultrasound and laser therapy.  Our Associates work with our support team and practice manager to cultivate a culture of caring and concern for our clients and their furry family members. This instills a sense of teamwork, with doctor and client working together through education and support to provide the best health care plan for pets. .You will work with Senior Associate Doctor, Practice Manager, and Veterinary Technicians and Assistants and report to our Hospital Administrator. And we really do have a waterfall.  We can offer a four day work week with rotating extended weekends. This is a stable busy practice with a strong potential for partnership and/or sale in the next two to five years.
 

What You Will Do:

  • Examine and diagnosis ill and injured pets
  • Preventative Health through annual wellness/vaccination visits
  • General surgery including elective surgery
  • Ultra-sound (or willingness for CE training)
  • Radiograph diagnostics
  • Lab diagnostics and some cytology
  • Leadership for support staff and participation in hospital procedure evaluations/improvement sessions
  • Monitoring and direction for inpatient care team

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

  • Licensed DVM for practicing in Kentucky, USA
