This is a professional, quiet office environment with minimal resident interaction. The role works closely with the property manager and meets monthly with ownership to review operating performance.
If you enjoy working independently, maintaining organized financial systems, and ensuring clean, accurate operating statements — this is an excellent long-term opportunity.

- Process electronic transfers (ACH/wire payments)
- Prepare and record rent deposits
- Maintain accurate bank account registers

- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
Insurance & Compliance
- Maintain all insurance policy documentation
- Organize policy summaries and renewal records
- Communicate with insurers (policy management only; not sourcing new coverage)
- Prepare and manage CRP forms
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years bookkeeping or small business accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to review financial statements critically (not just data entry)
- Experience with bank reconciliations and vendor payments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
- High level of organization and confidentiality
Preferred:
- Experience with Quicken Home & Business (training available)
- Property management or real estate accounting experience
- Familiarity with student housing operations
Why This Role Stands Out
- Flexible part-time schedule
- Direct collaboration with ownership
- Stable, long-term property portfolio
