Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the industry sector, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dedicated team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be an integral part of the finance department supporting the accounts payable processes.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Mission Viejo, CA

Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour

What's the Job? (Below are required for this job)

• Handle electronic invoices and process them through standard accounts payable workflows, including accurate data entry.
• Utilize MS Excel to calculate subtotals, totals, and allocate invoice amounts based on provided or calculated percentages.
• Manage accounts payable processing independently with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Use functions such as Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and similar tools to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
• Assist with maintaining and improving the accounts payable process to ensure compliance and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Experience handling electronic invoices and processing them through an AP workflow, including data entry.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including calculating subtotals and totals, and using advanced functions like Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP.
• Sufficient experience to manage AP processing independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite in Mission Viejo, CA, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
