The role is responsible for overseeing facilities and security-related systems, ensuring operational excellence and compliance. Key areas of accountability include:
Facilities & Security Management
Maintain and manage systems related to facilities and security.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with security protocols.
Implement preventive maintenance and risk mitigation strategies.
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
Utilize business intelligence tools and techniques to identify trends and opportunities - Power BI and Power Automate.
Provide actionable insights to leader and stakeholders.
Operational Accountability
Manage the operational aspects of supported products in alignment with business requirements and defined SLAs.
Provide off-hours support as needed to ensure service continuity.
Engage with vendors and customers to mitigate and resolve service outages promptly.
Part of the onboarding process will be to complete the Genetec certification.
This role will work a hybrid schedule coming into the Columbus, Ohio office 2 days per week on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
There may be occasional weeknight and weekend support as needed that is shared throughout the team.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Executes all aspects of capacity: drives requirements to meet current and future needs, tracks and reports capacity postures.
Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
Analyzes reports and delivery recommendations to remediate capacity issues.
Implements capacity enhancements.
Participates in technology/product optimization, migrations and management, including technology/product design, planning, power and environmental management.
Continuously improves and enhances existing environments.
Maintains proper hardware and software currency levels by working on recommended upgrades.
Conducts proactive system maintenance, disaster recovery planning, data backup and recovery as well as inventory, configuration and utility product management.
Executes on production engineering processes, incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, change management, release management and knowledge management.
Supports operational efforts to maintain environments.
Provides production support for all technology platforms.
Assists with disaster and business recovery planning and testing.
Provides oversight for technical labs and development environments.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Manager: Technology Engineering Manager/Technology Product Manager.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems or a related field is preferred.
License/Certification/Designation: Technology certifications or designation are not required, but encouraged (i.e.: AWS, Azure, scripting and development languages, delivery methods, security.
Experience: One or more years of experience developing and implementing integrated solutions. Experience in testing and debugging integrated solutions. Understanding of system management processes and tools. Understanding of concepts: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and package solutions.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Strong communication skills, knowledge of planning, management and execution of Accelerated Solutions Deliver framework, Information Security acumen. Influencing, negotiating and priority setting is needed. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the Vice President and HR Business Partner.
