Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Thrift Store Sales Specialist to join our team in Pompton Plains, NJ. Daily Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers promptly.
• Support donors and direct them to the designated donation drop-off area.
• Restock merchandise onto the sales floor, ensuring compliance with visual standards.
• Promote Goodwill's Rewards and Round-Up programs.
• Process sales transactions quickly and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, fitting rooms, and checkout area.
• Enforce store policies, including safety guidelines and occupancy limits.
• Operate the register and thank customers for their purchases.
• Monitor store entry and enforce safety measures if assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the store team and organizational goals.

Required Skills:

• 1 year of Retail or Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Previous Stock experience required.
• Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results.
• Strong communication skills with customers, sales leadership team, and colleagues.
• High School Diploma, equivalent, or combination of education/experience required.
