Job Title: Distribution Designer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Designer, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting power distribution work for a major utility client in Pennsylvania. You will be trained to assist with infrastructure repair design and analysis, using systems like DDS and Crews. No fieldwork is required, and you will have the flexibility to work from home two days a week after completing your training.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and analysis of infrastructure repairs as identified in the field.
  • Finalize work orders using DDS and Crews software.
  • Learn and eventually handle make-ready work and Low Voltage Distribution (LVD) tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in design and power distribution.
  • Proficiency in distribution design and electrical engineering.
  • Familiarity with power delivery systems, DDS, and Crews software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to support power distribution ESS4 work.
  • Interest in pursuing further engineering certifications such as FE and PE licenses.

Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid work environment with three days spent at our Taylor, MI office and two days working from home after training. Our department, part of the Utility Energy Division, is rapidly growing with expectations of significant expansion. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00/hr.
