Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment to support efficient production operations. This role plays a critical part in planning, measuring, and continuously improving product quality through both short-term problem-solving initiatives and long-term process optimization strategies.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, You Will:
  • Implement and document Lean manufacturing processes that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance workplace safety.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams supporting product design improvements, new product development, and field testing initiatives.
  • Research and evaluate automation solutions, optimize plant layouts, and improve production flow for greater operational efficiency.
  • Develop and validate manufacturing processes through PFMEA, process validation plans, and control plans for both in-house and outsourced products.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, establish KPIs, and drive performance metrics to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Author and manage engineering changes and deviations, ensuring proper documentation of changes affecting form, fit, or function.
  • Conduct dimensional and functional inspections, evaluate RMAs, and analyze non-conformances to determine root cause and corrective actions.
  • Design and source jigs, gauges, and tooling solutions to support manufacturing consistency and quality standards.
  • Support and maintain QMS documentation, including work instructions and product data accuracy (BOM validation and PDM systems).
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve incoming quality, manage SCARs, and resolve escalations with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of manufacturing process or manufacturing production experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a QA Engineer (as a plus)
  • Lean Six Sigma Training-Preferred Green Belt level
  • Experience using CAD and/or CAE Software is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle / SAP is a plus
  • Experience creating SOP's, Work/Job instructions
  • Experience in structuring Bill of Materials and ECO management (as a plus)
  • Experience with specifying, supporting and troubleshooting automation equipment and ancillary components (PLC, Sensors, Actuators, Etc.) is a plus.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering
