Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Salary: $2,490.87 - $2,690.87 /wk

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• At least 1.5 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer, specifically with Breast cases
• BLS Certification
• Hospital experience or experience in a Women-Baby and Birth center
• ARDMS (BR) discipline required; ob/gyn discipline strongly desired
• All certifications must be active
• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date)
• License verification
• References are encouraged
• MUST disclose any previous Parkland employment history within submitting profile

Assignment Details:

• Facility Type: Hospital
• Shift: Days
• Working Hours: 5x8 hr shifts beginning at/around 7a; 40 hrs/week
• Weekend Requirement: As scheduled including holiday rotation
• Candidate must be open to considering converting to permanent after the initial 13-week contract
• Webex interview conducted prior to offer
• If candidate's permanent residency address resides less than 60 miles from the facility, contract rate applies
