As a Registered Nurse in the Stepdown unit, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs. You will utilize your expertise to assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions, ensuring the best possible outcomes for your patients.

Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and patient education
Regularly assess patient needs and deliver skilled nursing services as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish patient goals and outcomes
Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Delegate and oversee tasks performed by support staff

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in a Neuro PCU setting
Recent travel work history is highly preferred
Active Michigan RN license
American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
NIHSS Certification
Available to work every other weekend and holiday
