Scaffold Foreman

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a crew in the safe and efficient assembly and dismantling of supported scaffolding systems in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Serve as the designated Competent Erector on job sites, including:
• Designing and inspecting fall protection systems to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Conducting job hazard analyses, safety planning, daily scaffold inspections, and maintaining proper scaffold tagging.
• Identifying workplace hazards and implementing corrective actions.
• Load and unload scaffold materials and equipment at job sites and transport vehicles.
• Plan daily job activities and assign tasks based on crew members' experience and skill levels.
• Track and document labor hours for inventory control and change orders.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Experience:

• At least 21 years old.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the construction of the scaffolding
• Proficient in verbal and written communication in the English language.
• Have proof of Competent Person Training for the construction and use of supported scaffolds and fall protection systems.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the OSHA 10 or the OSHA 30-hour courses for construction.
• Must possess a valid in-state driver's license with a good driving record.
• This includes no DUI or careless/reckless in the past 5 years.

Knowledge & Skills Needed:

• Show diligent attention to safety.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs.
• Able to climb and work more than 50 feet above ground level.
• Manage time efficiently and productively.
• Possess supervisory and organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated with a desire to grow within the company.
