What You’ll DoAs a key member of our team, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our veterinarians and delivering top-tier care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform patient triage and obtain accurate medical histories
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
- Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia
- Perform dental cleanings, radiographs, and oral charting
- Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, cytology)
- Place IV catheters and administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed
- Take and develop diagnostic radiographs
- Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care
- Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, nutrition, and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Ensure proper sterilization of surgical instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of medical supplies
- Follow all state regulations, hospital protocols, and safety standards

Who We're Looking For- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree)
- Successful completion of the VTNE and current Michigan LVT license
- Genuine passion for patient care and client education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Prior experience in the veterinary field
