Senior Project Manager Job Description

This position involves performing medium to advanced-level project management work activities and projects that require the application of project management knowledge for the safe, effective, efficient, and economical accomplishment of assigned objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, activities, materials, equipment, tools, and staff.
  • Assist in developing and scoping documents, deliverables, and cost estimates.
  • Assist in data gathering and analysis for reporting on project progress, scheduled deliverables, and budget.
  • Identify, clarify, and make recommendations for solutions to project plan deviations and work-related problems with minimal impact and risk.
  • Hold contractors accountable to the system safety process.
  • Communicate and coordinate with customers and interconnected companies on issues.
  • Support project management team members by providing guidance and training; review the work of other team members.
  • Utilize technical interfaces of project management and provide technical support to the team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Experience in project management with capital projects
  • Experience interfacing with engineering procurement and construction personnel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, with the requirement to be in the office a couple of days per month. Scheduling for office days will be worked out with the client at least a month in advance.

This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $75.00/hr.
