MUST:
Experienced Medical Assistant
Certified as a Medical Assistant if less than 5 years of experience as a medical assistant
Medical Assistant diploma
Experience rooming patients and obtaining vitals
Administering injections
Drawing blood
Experience working with pediatric patients or comfortable working with pediatric patients
Experience in the oncology feild a plus
Experience assisting with exams, procedures, casting and splinting
Must have EMR experience

DUTIES:
Medical Assistant will be responsible for the following:
Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs and medical histories
Administering injections
Assisting providers with exams, procedures, casting and splinting
Performing clinical procedures under supervision of physician or physician assistant
Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant
Ensure all related reports, labs and information are in patient's medical records prior to their appointment
Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required
Take detailed telephone messages
Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants
Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.) Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
