Job Summary:
Join a compassionate, patient-centered team in the heart of the Rockies! Estes Valley Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented PRN Clinical Dietitian to provide exceptional medical nutrition therapy across the continuum of care. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while enjoying the flexibility of a PRN schedule.
The Clinical Dietitian will assess, plan, and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients in acute and outpatient settings. Working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members, you will use evidence-based practice to improve clinical outcomes, enhance patient education, and promote overall wellness in our mountain community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments for patients in accordance with established clinical standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans based on diagnosis, medical history, and patient goals.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy for a wide range of conditions including diabetes, cardiac disease, renal disorders, gastrointestinal conditions, and malnutrition.
- Deliver engaging, patient-centered education and counseling to patients and families to support long-term health and lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
- Document nutrition assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute nutrition expertise to patient care planning.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Serve as a nutrition resource for hospital staff and contribute to community wellness initiatives as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition or related field.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- 1 year of experience in Clinical Nutrition.
