Prepare detailed drawings for the construction of or revision to the electric, gas and/or water distribution systems, street light system and/or underground transmission system; prepare one-line diagrams for planning and feeder studies; and make field trips as needed.

Qualification Requirements:
To perform the Drafter I role, you must have knowledge and skills in electricalmechanical drafting and layout tasks. Must successfully complete Placement (Group 001 Drafters)/Performance Exercises. Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job. Must have a valid drivers license from state of residence.

Working Environment:
Works in office majority of time. Subject to pulling/heavy lifting of manhole covers, transformer vault gratings and electrical equipment, bending, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and other hazards associated with occasional field inspections; and sitting for long periods of time and eye fatigue while working in the office.
