We are a growing, , client-focused veterinary hospital committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care for our patients and an exceptional experience for pet owners. We are seeking an organized, proactive, and supportive Practice Manager to lead our team, improve efficiency, and help create a positive and healthy workplace culture.

Position Summary:
The Veterinary Practice Manager oversees the daily operations of the hospital, ensures excellent client service, supports medical staff, and maintains a productive and cohesive team environment. This role is responsible for financial performance, inventory management, staff development, and ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant practice operations.

Key Responsibilities, Leadership & Team Management
-Provide daily leadership and support to veterinarians, technicians, and client service staff
-Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance reviews
-Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture
-Handle employee concerns, conflict resolution, and coaching
-Support staff training and the development of clear workflows and protocols

Client Service & Communication:
-Maintain a high standard of client communication and customer service
-Assist with client concerns or escalations and help resolve issues promptly
-Ensure a welcoming, professional, and efficient client experience

Operations & Workflow:
-Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure efficiency and organization
-Manage hospital inventory, ordering, controlled drug logs, and vendor relationships
-Maintain hospital safety, cleaning standards, and equipment functionality
-Ensure compliance with state veterinary regulations, OSHA protocols, and hospital policies

Financial Management:
-Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and practice metrics
-Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial planning
-Review invoices, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
-Work with leadership to improve productivity and revenue growth

Administrative Duties:
-Oversee scheduling, timecards, and staffing needs
-Maintain accurate medical records and hospital documentation
-Manage software systems (practice management software, digital imaging, payment systems)
-Support marketing, client communication campaigns, and community engagement

Qualifications:
-Prior veterinary management experience preferred, but strong candidates with leadership experience in medical or service industries will be considered
-Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
-Ability to multitask, delegate, and remain calm under pressure
-Proficiency with veterinary software (Cornerstone) or willingness to learn
-Understanding of veterinary terminology, procedures, and hospital flow (preferred)
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and assist in patient handling when needed
