Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 07:00 - 17:30 2-3 on-call shifts per week, including 1-2 call weekends every six weeks Key Responsibilities: Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, CTOs, and peripheral vascular interventions Operate and manage specialized equipment such as Impella devices, balloon pumps, and Rotablader systems Provide monitoring and scrub support during complex electrophysiology procedures including cardioversion, pacemaker insertions, and ablations Maintain accurate patient records and assist with EKG settings, rhythm interpretation, and vital signs acquisition Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and procedural efficiency Qualifications and Experience: Minimum required certifications: RCIS or ARRT; must hold a current state license if ARRT certified (VA Temporary License accepted) Current BLS and ACLS certification Demonstrated proficiency in LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, peripheral interventions, Impella, balloon pump, and Rotablader procedures Experience in scrub, monitor, and EKG acquisition including outpatient 12-lead EKGs and rhythm interpretation Preferred skills: phlebotomy, IV start, circulation, Watchman device procedures, ablations, pacemaker/defibrillator implantations, and Epic EMR system familiarity Benefits & Perks: Provided scrubs and work apparel Flu vaccination compliance required during flu season with exemption accommodations per CMS guidelines This contract offers dynamic clinical exposure in a well-equipped cath lab performing complex cardiovascular procedures.
