Quality Control Co-op

Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings, and sealants is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician Assistant/Co-op. This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure product quality by acting as an assistant to the laboratory technician on duty.

This position will have flexible hours based on your school schedule.

Fundamental Job Tasks

Provides support in completing defined tests that evaluate product properties and characteristics; prepares & restocks supplies, as directed by the full-time lab technician.

Documents, Organizes & Reports inventory.

Compiles, Informs and Reports findings, as directed by the full-time lab technician.

Maintains quality lab data & documents by entering test data and completed documentation into quality databases with the support of a full-time lab technician.

Organizes quality lab retain samples by rotating storage and recording movement into quality databases.

Administratively supports the QC effort through analysis of raw materials received. Reviews Certification of Analysis data and compares the information to stored specifications for the dispositioning of raw materials.

Observes all safety and environmental guidelines while handling products, raw materials and waste.

Upholds a clean and orderly work area , including Jab space and product retain locations.

Targeted Skills/Knowledge
A high school diploma/GED with 1 year of technical experience & an active student at an institution of higher education.
