We're currently seeking a highly motivated CADD Technician II with City of Portland/Bureau of Environmental Services located in Portland ,Oregon
Required Education:

Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
Education & Experience
- 3+ years of professional Revit modeling experience, preferably in industrial, utility, or infrastructure environments
- Demonstrated experience developing models from laser scan / point cloud data
Technical Skills - Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit- Experience working in Autodesk Construction Cloud- Strong understanding of point cloud processing and alignment
- Familiarity with industrial facilities, piping systems, and process equipment
- Working knowledge of GIS concepts and 3D spatial data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Autodesk Tandem or digital twin platforms
- Experience modeling wastewater or water treatment facilities
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or 3D GIS web scenes
- Understanding of asset management and O&M workflows
- Experience supporting as-built documentation and retrofit projects
- BIM-related certifications (Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM certification, etc.)
- Continuous improvement mindset related to BIM and
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain LOD 300-400 Revit models for wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and industrial process facilities- Convert laser scan / point cloud data into accurate Revit geometry
- Model architectural, structural, mechanical, piping, and equipment systems with emphasis on operational clarity
- Maintain Revit families aligned with industrial and utility standards
- Work within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) including Docs, Design Collaboration, and Model Coordination- Manage model versioning, permissions, and coordination workflows
- Support development and maintenance of Autodesk Tandem digital twins
- Associate Revit elements with asset metadata (IDs, equipment attributes, maintenance-relevant data)
- Align models with asset management and O&M use cases (not just design intent)
- Coordinate Revit models with GIS datasets
- Publish and maintain 3D GIS web scenes for facility visualization, planning, and stakeholder engagement
- Support spatial accuracy and coordinate system alignment between BIM and GIS environments
- Follow and help develop BIM standards, templates, naming conventions, and modeling guidelines
- Perform quality control reviews for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Ensure models support downstream uses including capital projects, operations, maintenance, and emergency planning
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, O&M staff, project managers, and GIS teams
- Support model use for planning, design reviews, construction sequencing, and operational decision-making- Assist with training and documentation related to BIM and digital twin workflows
Salary:
- $35-40 HR
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
