Job Title: Document ControllerJob Description
The role will be to lead the document control and record retention of the Mechanical Design Unit inside the Equipment Production Department. This includes engineering drawing control and support of the data management function. Additionally, the position involves creating requisitions in SAP for parts orders submitted by Designers and supporting the Unit with scheduling and clerical work.
Responsibilities
- Manage Mechanical Design drawing number issuance and documentation.
- Publish BOMs, CAD data, and drawings supplied by the Designers to data storage.
- Support data management by performing file transfers.
- Perform Record Retention requests and support updates for official documents.
- Process part and services requisitions issued by the internal design team while performing established quality in process checks for correct naming and format.
- Communicate discrepancies with requestor as needed.
- Using the ERP system, publish requisitions and required drawings to the Purchasing team to initiate parts ordering.
- Support preparation of design review documents and scheduling of design review for the design team.
- Manage the Unit assets and supplies.
- Support onboarding of new associates.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in SAP
- Knowledge of Catia
- Experience in Document Control
- Proficient in Excel
- Familiarity with Design Software
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in managing mechanical design documentation
- Ability to support data management through file transfers
- Experience in processing requisitions using an ERP system
- Strong communication skills for resolving discrepancies
Work Environment
This position is located behind the Marysville auto plant and requires working in an office environment, onsite.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
