Purpose of Position

The Training Program Manager is responsible for leading the development, execution, and continuous improvement of training programs that align with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and workforce development needs. This role ensures effective coordination across departments, maintains program integrity, and supports long-term training strategy through data-driven decision-making, stakeholder collaboration, and operational excellence.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Program Development & Execution

  • Support the planning and execution of new training initiatives, program rollouts, and curriculum updates.

  • Identify potential risks to program success (e.g., resource gaps, regulatory changes) and proactively develop mitigation strategies.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to promote program alignment and effective knowledge transfer.

  • Deliver clear, timely updates on training program performance, milestones, and challenges to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and apply key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess training effectiveness, instructor performance, and learner outcomes.

  • Leverage internal data, industry benchmarks, and regulatory feedback to refine programs and improve instructional quality.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Participate in enterprise-wide initiatives related to talent development, organizational capability, and safety culture.

  • Contribute to budgeting, resource planning, and vendor evaluation for training-related expenditures.

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, instructional design, or operations leadership in a regulated industry (aviation or safety-sensitive fields preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with regulatory training requirements (e.g., FAA 14 CFR Part 135 or 121) is highly desirable.
