Summary

We are looking for an experienced, skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our exceptional team at South Loop Dental Specialists. In this role, you will support our dental professionals in delivering exceptional patient care while utilizing advanced techniques and technology. Your contributions will be vital in sharing our Core Values and committed to providing top-notch customer service and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean and equipped for patient care.
• Take and develop X-rays/CT Scans as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide patients with information about their treatments and post-operative care.
• Support the front office with scheduling appointments and managing medical records as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical record management.
• Proficient in taking X-rays and understanding general dentistry procedures.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is a plus.
