Artisan Optics, a locally owned optometry practice in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a skilled optometrist to join our team. We are looking for an upbeat, outgoing Associate Optometrist who enjoys both the clinical and optical side of optometry. With our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, customized Compulink EHR system, and experienced support team - our doctors enjoy practicing full scope optometry in a professional, team environment.

We feel these attributes provide our patients with the care and products necessary to sustain long-term relationships.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and eye health
• Conduct dry eye evaluations
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma
• Fit and prescribe contact lenses for patients
• Provide postoperative care for patients undergoing cataract or LASIK surgery

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Experience working in a primary care optometry practice
• Experience managing patients (prescribing treatment, communicating importance of treatment, etc) 
• Proficiency refracting patients
• Proficiency interpreting visual field testing
• Proficiency interpreting Optical Coherence Tomography testing
• Proficiency in ocular disease management
• Experience recommending from the chair, and working with opticians

Technical Skills:

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Salary and Benefits:

We reward our doctors with an annual salary that starts at $120,000 DOE before production incentives, and easily exceeds $175,000 for a high-producing OD. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, health savings accounts (HSAs), and disability insurance.
