Job Description


Southpark Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who are eager to fully utilize their training and expertise while building strong, lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

In this role, you will:
  • Provide high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, and dental cleanings with radiographs
  • Support efficient exam room flow while delivering clear, compassionate client communication
  • Review treatment plans, provide thorough discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians and team members to support outpatient care and ensure the highest standard of patient care

At Southpark Animal Clinic, we provide care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, and pride ourselves on delivering thoughtful, high-quality medicine across species. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who is passionate about exceptional patient and client care and enjoys working at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:
  • Compensation: $25 - $29 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • Bonus package: $2000
  • CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
  • 4+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting

  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Client communication
    • Anesthesia induction/intubation/monitoring
    • Dental prophy
    • IVC placement
    • Outpatient care
